Welcome To

EBA

Explore,Browse, Apply

To empower Nigerian students, especially those in public universities, with the knowledge, skills, and support to explore, browse, and apply for life-changing opportunities through a structured, collaborative, and impact-driven community.

Problem Statement for EBA Network:

Despite the abundance of global and local opportunities such as scholarships, fellowships, internships, and development programs, many Nigerian students, especially in public universities, lack the awareness, skills, guidance, and support systems needed to access and benefit from them. This gap results in missed chances for personal growth, career development, and global exposure, not due to lack of potential, but due to limited access to information, poor application skills (e.g. CVs, essays), and absence of structured peer support. EBA Network was created to bridge this gap by building a student-led, collaborative platform that not only shares opportunities but also nurtures the skills, systems, and support needed for students to consistently Explore, Browse, and Apply (EBA) to win.

Mission

To empower Nigerian students especially in public universities with the knowledge, skills and support to explore, browse and apply for life-changing opportunities through a structured, collaborative and impact-driven community.

Vision

To be a nationally recognized platform that nurtures opportunity-seeking as a skill and cultivates a generation of successful globally competitive Nigerian students empower to lead and transform their communities.

Testimonies

Through the EBA Network, my professional goal to become a public health specialist has been given a boost. Specifically, I was fortunate to get the information about the Badge Program in Public Health Sciences offered by Wichita State University. I was able to secure a funding of $1,133 for the program through the network. I find the aspect of mentorship and feedback offered by the EBA network most valuable. Information about scholarships or opportunities without mentorship limits growth. Additionally, there are different opportunities for people in different phases of their lives. Students should pay keen attention to information and guidance being shared and strive to achieve a state where they are sufficiently competitive.

EBA has significantly contributed to my professional growth by guiding me in developing essential documents like my CV, personal statement, and résumé, while also connecting me with direct and indirect mentorship from experienced scholars. Through EBA, I discovered and won the competitive ASUU Indigent Scholarship, Etinosa Oghogho Foundation scholarship, and accessed numerous webinars, mentorship sessions, and valuable study resources. Most importantly, it has expanded my network, sharpened my skills, and prepared me for future career opportunities. I strongly encourage others to join us—together we can achieve success, as the sky is wide enough for everyone.

I got to know about EBA Network in the early month of 2025, and since then, it has greatly impacted my academic and professional journey. Through the guidance I received from Brainydoc during a scholarship application, I was able to secure a fully funded opportunity, he patiently answered my many questions and provided clarity that made my application successful. One of my key achievements has also been the growth of my leadership skills after applying for and participating in a fellowship program, where I gained valuable experiences that shaped my confidence. Among the various forms of engagement, mentorship has been the most valuable to me, as it provided direction and opened my eyes to opportunities I never knew existed. Before joining, I was in the dark, but now I understand the importance of being prepared and available for opportunities that align with my aspirations. To any student considering EBA Network, I would say: take advantage of the mentorship and resources, because they truly have the potential to transform your path.
